!±8± Garmin 405 Forerunner Review

Looking for Garmin Forerunner 405 review? You are definitely not the only one. People everywhere are looking for great reviews on these watches and that is why I wrote this article.

Let's start

405 is a lot slimmer than previous models. It also have innovate new touch-bezel system control. You can also find heart rate monitor and wireless transfer of your workout data to your PC.

Now let's talk about some pros and cons...

Pros

Definitely touch-bezel is very good thing. It eliminates need for multiple buttons. Accurate GPS distance data are also very good and helpful. Don't forget about heart rate data which is automatically transferred to your own PC.

Cons

The only con is that they new touch-bezel control can take some practise to master. There is no more cons in this watch.

Now let's see description:

- Dimensions: 1.88" x 2.78" x 0.646" (4.8 x 7.1 x 1.6 cm).

- Display Size: 1.06" (2.7 cm) diameter.

- Weight: 2.11 oz (60 g).

- Waterproof

- High-sensitivity GPS receiver. Holds signal well in urban and wooded settings

- Virtual Partner

- Auto-pause, auto-lap, auto-scroll

- Multi-sport

Guide Review

The initial setup of new Gramin watch is very straightforward. You just charge the watch, follow the on-screen instructions to configure, and pair it automatically with the heart rate monitor. If you are ready to run just strap your hear monitor around your chest and you are ready to go. Forerunner 405 uses GPS to capture and display precise location and speed data as you run.

When you get back to home, simply walk to your PC and Garmin 405 will automatically and wirelessly transfer your workout data to it. Then you can analyze and archive your runs using Garmin Connect. It's an excellent way to keep a detailed training log without writing a thing.

Summing up, it's not a watch I'd wear in a business setting, but you could wear it all day. Touch-bazel can be tough to learn at first but after some training it will will become second nature with use. This watch is really worth it's money.
